The results from the EDC Analyzer “Try A Claim!” tool are for reference and illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual payment performance in the payer’s claims management system and, therefore, cannot be used as information or evidence in an adjudication or appeal environment. The EDC Analyzer “Try A Claim!” is updated bi-annually. Updates are based on internal review and changes in regulatory requirements and code sets. The “Try A Claim!” tool was current at the time it was published or uploaded to the web, claims with dates prior to updates may vary in outcome. The “Try A Claim!” function is not intended to take the place of the payer adjudication process. Facilities are responsible for the submission of complete and accurate coding on each claim.
